9/11 is one of the deadliest days in American history. It is one of two major times when the United States has seen an attack on American soil and both times these attacks lead us to war. 9/11 raised many questions as to how anyone could get on board a commercial airline with knives, and take hijack the plane and then use this plane as a weapon against the U.S. In many ways, 9/11 changed the way we look at security in America. Firstly, airport security has strengthened greatly because it may take you many hours to get through and the smallest issues with anything wether it be something as small as undergoing kimo treatments that show up in radiation tests at an airport, or having something not out of your pockets at airport security, all things are taken seriously. Secondly, the U.S. now responds aggressively to any possible threat to national security which also brought about the creation of departments within security agencies which look for people and other objects which pose a threat to security. However, lastly, and most importantly, the United States has this great tragedy to look back on and realize how easily we can be attacked in a drastic way such as this.
