Technology used during the Persian gulf war
Superior technology helped the Coalition Forces victory against the Iraqi forces that were in Kuwait. Operation Desert Storm was the Coalition Forces' main air offense that included the latest military technology such as Stealth bombers, Cruise missiles, and so-called “Smart” bombs with laser-guidance systems and infrared night-bombing equipment. Much of the Iraqi forces were either destroyed or put out of commission by the attack. Operation Desert Sabre was a land-based attack in order to liberate Kuwait from the Iraqi forces. Both of these operations used advanced technology that allowed the Collation forces to defeat the Iraqi forces. These weapons are listed below along with information about them.
